Category  Counter-irritant; rubefacient.
               Racemic Camphor                               40 g
               Ethanol (90 Per Cent)                        600 mL
               Purified Water, sufficient to produce      1000 mL
               Dissolve Racemic Camphor in Ethanol (90 Per Cent) and add, gradually, with vigorous shaking after each addition, sufficient Purified Water to produce 1000 mL.

Strength available  4 per cent w/v.

Dose  Adults:  Topical, to the affected area, not more than three or four times a day.

Ethanol content  51 to 55 per cent v/v (Method II, Appendix 6.5).

Other requirements  Complies with the requirements described under “Aromatic Waters” (Appendix 1.16).
